Techno-Trip 016: ASDASD

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share a mix for our Trip Presents Series, we love it. could you tell us how your love for Techno came about?

I have been passionately immersed in the art of DJing for over 15+ years, honing my skills within the confines of a small, personal studio I’ve lovingly crafted at home. Rather than pursuing self-promotion on social media or having connections within the techno/club scene, I have always found solace in the process of DJing within the comforts of my own space. Gradually, I let go of the arduous task of marketing and focused solely on the sheer joy of DJing itself.

While crafting a DJ mix, my objective is to release a new mix every few months, all the while exploring the latest releases from my favorite producers and discovering talented up-and-comers. In my creative process, I envision the final result as an immersive experience akin to watching a captivating movie unfold. This perspective transforms the journey of creating a mix into an engaging puzzle to solve.

I strive to infuse my mixes with punchy and groovy basslines, dynamic percussions, and mesmerizing atmospheric synths, all seamlessly transitioning from one track to the next while maintaining a constant sense of intrigue. Each moment of the mix is crafted with care, ensuring it remains captivating throughout.

Ultimately, my greatest achievement would be knowing that even a single individual somewhere in the world finds enjoyment in my DJ mix. It is with this humble goal that I find fulfilment in my craft.

What have been some of the highlights or funniest memories from the parties you have thrown or played at so far on your journey?

Back in 2015, I found myself in the unforgettable moment of playing right after Industrializer, who was wrapping up his set with one of his monumental tracks, “The Flash.” As I was setting up my equipment, an unforeseen mishap occurred—I inadvertently unplugged the power source for all of his gear. The resulting expression on Industrializer’s face clearly indicated his dissatisfaction, though it brought a mischievous smile to mine.
